Should I use paid email advertising or PPC in my marketing?
http://www.salesandonlinemarketing.com Paid email advertising and Pay-Per-Click (or PPC) advertising are two different ways to advertise your business. The one thing they have in common is they cost money so you have to be wise about how you spend your advertising dollars.
Paid email advertising means that you are paying for someone else’s list of email subscribers. You do not own the list but you are able to advertise your business products to their subscribers, for a fee of course. If it is a specific list of your target market, then this can be a valuable resource, but it all depends on the cost.
My recommendation is to build your own list of targeted traffic by using lead capture pages. So then you can advertise to them any time you want as often as you want without having to pay for it.
